Tiznajo Forge represents the sixth generation of a lineage of iron craftsmen. Their work has not only managed to recover, maintain and guarantee the continuity of this artistic and artisan specialty in our city, but has also managed to bring a model of craftsmanship to the field of art.

His work as a whole is an example of respect for tradition, quality and artistic value, a living expression of the material culture of our city, but above all of a know-how, of a wisdom inherited generation after generation, which is constituted as one of the emblematic pieces of our rich artisan cultural heritage.

The workshop itself is recognized by the Junta de Andalucía as a Cultural Asset. Since 2012, it has been part of the declaration “Úbeda, Area of ​​​​Artisan Interest in Andalusia”, “Point of Artisan Interest”, Master Craftsman, Finalists of the 2013 National Crafts Awards, Winners of the first Richard H. Driehaus Prize for Construction Arts year 2017.
