This large mansion is known by the name of its later owners, the Marquis of La Rambla, although in reality its developer was Don Francisco de Molina. He was gentleman from Úbeda related to Francisco Vela de los Cobos, whose palace inspired the construction before which we now find ourselves.

Although there are no documents to prove it, the intervention of Andrés de Vandelvira in this building is evident, since characteristic elements of Vandelvira’s style are incorporated into it.

Inside the palace of Marqués de la Rambla a beautiful columned patio stands out, with lush vegetation and a central fountain creating a pleasant atmosphere.

All parts of the palace, now transformed into a hotel, are decorated with refined period furniture and portraits of the Marquis of La Rambla. It is a timeless haven, ideal for disconnecting from life´s hustle and bustle and enjoying all the charms of the town.
