Úbeda´s pottery museum is also known as the “Paco Tito” museum in honour of the famous local potter who through the donation of his important private collection made the foundation of the museum possible in 1992.

It is located in an old mansion that respects the traditional distribution of Ubeda’s pottery houses. In the “Memorial to the everyday” pottery museum we can delight in the most renowned pottery works of the region.

Visiting this museum means taking a trip back in time through the history of Úbeda´s pottery. Traditional pieces such as oil bottles, pots, and jars are on display which, beyond their practical use, constitute authentic works of art.

In the basement you can visit the pottery where generations of the Tito family have developed their craft, following the example of master potters who, since the Andalusí era, have used ancient techniques to give life to clay. In addition, you will be able to admire one of the last six Arab ovens that are still in operation in Spain.

On the ground floor is a space called “the artist’s corner”, which delves further into the fascinating ways of life and work of these master craftsmen.
