He combines this learning with extensive academic training (Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Granada and several postgraduate degrees at different Universities). In 2006 he writes the candidacy for the National Craft Award that will be awarded to the family workshop, founded by his grandfather and his father in 1965 under the TITO-ÚBEDA brand, in 2013 he also obtains the National Award for Crafts in Innovation. He regularly visits the United States to promote and market his work. He has exhibited in the main European capitals (Paris, London, Milan, etc) and Latin American (Mexico City, Washinton, New York). He has worked with artists like Arcadio Blasco, couturiers like Moisés Nieto, filmmakers like Milos Forman. TITO has been endorsed by the Michelangelo Foundation in its HomoFaber Guide since 2018. From his house-museum, which houses one of the best collections of popular ceramics in Spain, he defends and creates avant-garde craftsmanship with all the positive values ​​of our ancestral pottery tradition.
